On August 23, 2025, PRM had the honor of witnessing something unforgettable in Baguio City. PRM member Ben&Ben turned the summer capital into a universe of warmth, light and unbridled energy. From the moment the countdown began, the crowd’s cheers echoed through the mountains, and when the first notes struck, we were no longer mere listeners. We were fellow travelers, swept into a journey across dimensions.

The concert was a cinematic odyssey. At its heart was Liwanag, the central character from their upcoming third studio album, whose journey through different dimensions mirrors the stages of life itself. Through an innovative blend of live performance and animated visuals, Ben&Ben invited fans to witness Liwanag’s path unfold right before their eyes.

The Three Dimensions of Life

The concert’s structure mirrors the three major stages of life, making the audience feel like they were not just watching a show but living a journey:

ACT 1: Light (Innocence) – The night opened with The Traveller, Could Be Something, and fan favorites like Paninindigan Kita and Maybe The Night. This chapter radiated with themes of love, hope, and youthful wonder, setting the tone for the journey.

ACT 2: Energy (Struggle) – The stage pulsed with fire as Langyang Pag-Ibig, Burn, Comets, and Kapangyarihan shook the crowd. These songs embodied the turbulence of battles we face, both within and beyond ourselves, urging the audience to channel rage and pain into strength.

ACT 3: Feel (Maturity) – The final act carried the weight of wisdom and reflection, with Di Ka Sayang, Sarangola, and Leaves guiding us into acceptance and growth. The night reached its emotional peak with New Dimensions, closing the set on a note of transcendence.

The three acts represented the innocence of beginnings, the fire of battles, and the maturity of acceptance, allowing fans to see their own lives mirrored in every note, lyric and visual.

A Night of Surprises

One of the evening’s most moving moments came when Ben&Ben surprised the crowd with “Haligi at Ilaw,” a new song dedicated to Paolo & Miguel’s mother, Mommy Val, who celebrated her birthday that very night. As the lyrics unfolded, the sincerity of the moment washed over the crowd. Fans clapped and cheered through teary eyes, joining the band in celebrating not just the iconic musician’s mom, but the inspiration behind the people who have inspired millions.

Baguio: A Full-Circle Moment

For Ben&Ben, Baguio isn’t just a tour stop. It’s where it all began. Back in 2017, the band played their first out-of-Manila gig in Baguio. Eight years later, they returned with a tour, a groundbreaking concert format, and countless of fans singing their hearts out, proving how far the band and their community has come.

Ben&Ben’s journey is one we are deeply proud of at PRM. Last year, they received recognition as awardees and rightful royalty recipients, a testament to our shared mission of protecting the rights and works of Filipino artists. Through PRM, their music is not only safeguarded but also ensures that their creative contributions are respected and rewarded.

As proud members of PRM, Ben&Ben are not only carrying the light of OPM across dimensions, but they are also proving that Filipino music, when protected and empowered, can truly reach boundless horizons.
