Alternative Music Gets Loud: PRM Hosts Roadshow with AltG Records

On August 28, the PRM team held a roadshow with AltG Records, a sublabel of GMA Music, one of PRM’s producer labels. The sublabel was represented by bands Nior, Sala, Wickermoss, and singer-songwriter Plume, all gathered online to attend the discussion. 

Established in 2006, AltG Records stands as the home for alternative artists of its renowned mother label. Among its notable artists are Mcoy Fundales, Abby Clutario, and the Filipino-Japanese rock band Sky Garden.  

It’s not a PRM Roadshow without a quick but enjoyable icebreaker. To start things off, the team hosted a mini trivia game and encouraged the artists to join for a small prize. Moving forward, a company profile was presented, highlighting PRM’s goals, accreditation, and most importantly, the benefits of a PRM membership. Artists, following the company presentation, were given the opportunity to ask questions.  

PRM officially and warmly welcomes the artists as our performer members. Besides royalty collection, when provided the opportunity, PRM will take the chance to showcase local artists and music. Nior, a five-piece band hailing from Pampanga who also attended the roadshow, rocked the Official Philippines Chart Launch Party back in February with their electrifying songs---truly representative of Filipino music brilliance.
