Di Ilaw Sa Gabing Mapanglaw: Dilaw's Stripped Down Concert

PRM was invited by Warner Music, one if its valuable record label members, to join the concert of Dilaw at Teatrino, Greenhills last October 3, 2023. Dilaw is one of the breakthrough artists of 2023. They started out as a duo performing covers on YouTube which expanded into a full band later on. Di Ilaw Sa Gabing Mapanglaw is a concert featuring stripped-down performances of their songs. Upon entering the theatre, you will be greeted by a well laid-out stage design signaling that this is not your usual Dilaw gig. Dilaw is having a fruitful 2023 so far with the success of their track Uhaw, and one of their latest releases, Orasa. Dilaw decided to give their fans and themselves an experience that is novel to them. They performed a unique set with a string quartet which gave us an alternative version of the band’s rendition as it gave a different feel to songs such as Sansinukob, Kaloy, as well as their hit Uhaw and their latest single, Orasa. Adding to the intimate feel of the concert is a heartwarming performance from Dilaw Obero, the main vocalist of the band. His performance was filled with emotion that clearly resonated with the audience. At the end of the concert, guests and fans were given the chance to talk and take pictures with the band. Surely this added to the welcoming vibe of the event. Watch out for Dilaw as they continue to take over the OPM scene.
