EMI Records relaunches in the Philippines

Universal Music Group Philippines just re-launched EMI Records Philippines. Initially established in 2002, the iconic label was home to some of the biggest artists in the Philippines who eventually became household names in the OPM scene. Acts such as Sandwich, Sugarfree, Hale, and many other musicians released some of their greatest hits under the EMI Banner. In 2024, Universal Music Group Philippines relaunched EMI Records Philippines with the same values that propelled these OPM acts to their stardom. Their new roster consists of a good mix of established names, and up-and-comers such as Dionela, CHNDTR, Gracenote, Hale, and many more. This new crop of artists will be the new face of EMI and will carry its legacy not just locally but also beyond the seas of the Philippines.
