For Global Music Protection: PRM Holds Distribution Meeting with The Orchard

On June 11, the PRM team discussed with The Orchard’s Rights Management Director, Matt Hermalyn, both organizations’ collaborations as PRM finalizes its efforts for the 2025 royalty distribution and the highly anticipated R.E.D. (Royalty, Engagement, Distribution) Party 2025. 

The Orchard, a music distribution company equipped to provide artists and record labels with marketing and collection support, is one of Sony Music’s distributors with more than 40 offices running worldwide, including Manila. In the virtual meeting, Matt expressed his and his team’s full support for PRM’s operations, resonating with the organization’s dogma and goals for the industry. Distribution timelines, in addition, were discussed as The Orchard extends its full reach to other territories and provides its member artists with their due royalties. 

Truly, music protection is largely done in collaboration with other stakeholders. The PRM team is grateful for the opportunity to harmonize with Matt and, by extension, The Orchard.
