How often is it that a concert takes you through all the stages of romance, the highs and the lows included? From the moment sparks fly to the inevitable crash-and-burn, all while ending with a hopeful resolution of moving on, Lola Amour jammed the night away and undeniably charmed the audience in the process.
On September 12, 2025, the PRM team was generously invited by Warner Music Philippines to attend Lola Amour’s Love on Loop album concert at The Space at One Ayala. Not only did it showcase the band’s romance-themed album, but it also featured local and foreign artists alike on stage.

Befitting their position as the night’s opening act, OPM legends, The Itchyworms, warmed the venue with their hits and stunning crowd work—notably a clever strategy to build the foundations to the concert’s running theme. The audience, reeling from the Beer-like aftereffects of the previous band, was then moved to a more soulful set by indie folk band The Ridleys. Known for their songs Aphrodite and Be With You, the three-piece act captivated everyone with their swoon-worthy pieces. Rising P-Pop girl group KAIA, who demonstrated their powerful vocals, finally capped the opening performances off before turning over the stage to the main act.

One of the most notable—if not the most—aspects of the concert is its theme, specifically an airplane ride motif that takes you through the runway, soars above the clouds, and descends in a funky Lola Amour fashion. It’s a whirlwind of emotions, but the band has made sure that everyone is buckled up before going on an aerocoaster journey based on true-to-life experiences.

Although the band draws inspiration from the members' lovely and gut-wrenching moments, they skillfully packaged everything into one cohesive and groove-infused album, now enjoyed by their fans and casual listeners. True to its artistic branding, the concert was also truly gratifying in both auditory and visual senses. The lighting design was phenomenal and complemented the songs played; a blush of pinks and fuchsias to symbolize budding romances, and blues and deep reds to remind us of the heartbreaks we know all too well. Mesmerizing choreographies also served as an introductory note before Lola Amour hit their first few lyrics.

But a concert does not really feel complete without the artists’ iconic pieces, yes? After their final album song, “Love on Loop,” the band had seemingly concluded the show and left for the backstage area. Across the venue, dozens of people cheered for an encore — “isa pa,” the crowd repeatedly chimed in chorus. The night had never ended, after all.

Marked by the ever-known synth notes, Lola Amour returned to the stage with their pandemic hit Raining in Manila and spurred everyone to sing the beloved Pinoy playlist must-have. It also came as a surprise when PSYCHIC Fever’s KOKORO, their co-singer in The Moment, joined them on stage to perform the song. The audience then continued to ride their high as the band performed their other hits Fallen and Pwede Ba.

When their well-known pieces had already been played and the concert’s supposed coda slowly dawned on the audience, Lola Amour smoothly transitioned to a special set populated with guest performers and modern disco hymns. The band was joined again by KOKORO to jive with the crowd and sing Daft Punk’s One More Time. In a few minutes, BARB. (Leanne Mamonong of Leanne and Naara) returned to the stage to lead their electric performance of Bonnie Bailey’s Ever After. Finally, vocalist Sof of Any Name’s Okay, came on and sang the decade-defining electro pop song from Zedd and Foxes—Clarity. The energy from the venue was truly palpable, and the only thing we can say is: what an experience.

Lola Amour’s recent concert marks a significant milestone in their career. From starting as a college band to performing with Coldplay and now taking on a year-long preparation to produce their album concert, the band does not fail to highlight their synergy and skills over time progressively. They also show the brilliance of Filipino music that transcends borders. A huge congratulations to the Lola Amour and the amazing people behind the event!

PRM is proud to have witnessed such thrilling performances last Friday. It is our goal to promote Filipino music as a collective management organization (CMO) representing record labels and artists. When artists are rewarded for their efforts, the more they can mount similar events for everyone to enjoy. That said, let’s ensure that they are recognized and given their due credit.
